Treatment methods for vulvitis
Simple vulvitis is not very common, and the occurrence of vulvitis should be based on the type of infection causing it. It is advisable to routinely conduct an examination of secretions, perform bacteriological tests, and classify the inflammation. If there are no symptoms in the vagina and the secretions are normal, simple vulvitis can be alleviated by using cleansing solutions to wash the area. There are various broad-spectrum cleansing solutions to choose from. Additionally, it is important to avoid wearing tight pants that may cause friction and to keep the vulva clean and dry, frequently changing underwear.
Should you have sexual intercourse during endometritis?
During periods of endometritis or while treating endometritis and pelvic inflammatory disease, it is not permissible to engage in sexual activity. The stimulation from sexual activity can exacerbate the inflammation or cause it to spread, increasing the likelihood of chronic pelvic pain, worsening inflammation, causing fever, or other severe consequences. Therefore, it is crucial to not only discover and treat these conditions promptly but also to avoid fatigue and sexual activity during treatment. Generally, this is only temporary, and it is important to exercise self-control.
What is the cause of dysmenorrhea with scanty flow?
Dysmenorrhea and scanty menstrual flow are often related to a cold uterus. Therefore, women must be careful not to consume too much cold food, engage in appropriate outdoor activities, improve overall blood circulation, enhance gynecological circulation, and change their physical constitution. However, some people experience dysmenorrhea and reduced menstrual flow due to having undergone an abortion, which causes damage to the endometrium. Specific treatments are required in those cases, such as hysteroscopy for examination and treatment, and the use of estrogen and various traditional Chinese medicines for treatment and conditioning. It is also necessary to check for other issues like pelvic inflammation, endometriosis, adenomyosis, or cervical adhesions, etc. Identifying the specific cause is essential for targeted treatment.
Cervical erosion grade one
Cervical erosion of the first degree simply means that the area of cervical erosion is not very large. Cervical erosion of the second degree is also a physiological phenomenon and doesn’t need to be overly concerned about. As long as the screening results for precancerous cervical lesions are normal, and there is no contact bleeding or infection in the discharge, it's not a problem. Simple cervical erosion is just a physiological phenomenon, as young women naturally have higher levels of estrogen, and their columnar epithelium is prone to eversion. It is a physiological state and should not be treated as a disease.
Does cervical erosion affect pregnancy?
Cervical erosion does not affect pregnancy because cervical erosion itself is not a disease. It is a physiological state where the columnar epithelium is everted due to the high levels of estrogen common in young people, appearing as a bright red state of cervical erosion. However, it is not a disease, but rather an issue with endocrine function, which is normal and a sign of youth. Therefore, cervical erosion does not affect pregnancy, and one should not panic and undergo unnecessary physical treatments.
Causes of cervical erosion
Cervical erosion is considered a physiological phenomenon, not a disease. It is part of the normal anatomical structure of females, characterized by a more apparent red appearance of the columnar epithelium on the cervix. This is due to the relatively high levels of estrogen in young women, which causes the columnar epithelium to evert from the cervical canal, resulting in a vigorous growth of the epithelium, and thus the red, erosion-like appearance. This is normal, and as age increases, the columnar epithelium gradually moves inward and is covered by squamous epithelium, resulting in a smooth appearance of the cervix.
Do fibroids cause stomach pain?
Uterine fibroids, if merely present and not too large, generally do not cause abdominal pain. If there are symptoms of abdominal pain, it is necessary to check whether there is pelvic inflammatory disease by examining if there is tenderness in the uterus and adnexal areas. Uterine fibroids, if accompanied by adenomyosis, can also cause abdominal pain, particularly progressive dysmenorrhea symptoms. Therefore, if there is abdominal pain, it is essential to first perform an ultrasound to understand the specifics of the uterine fibroids, whether there are other masses in the pelvic area that might be twisted, and also to check for inflammation, the presence of an intrauterine device, etc.
Can I drink milk tea during menstrual cramps?
Dysmenorrhea primarily requires avoiding cold beverages. Milk tea can certainly be consumed as long as it's not too cold and you don't have a diet that leans excessively in any direction. Pay attention to not consuming too much to avoid conditions such as high blood sugar, high urine sugar, and high body weight. Dysmenorrhea mainly involves identifying the underlying causes. It's important to determine whether it is related to inflammation of the uterus, or conditions such as endometriosis or adenomyosis. Some cases of dysmenorrhea are simply due to what is known as a "cold uterus", which requires regular physical exercise to improve overall blood circulation and body constitution, gradually alleviating the symptoms of dysmenorrhea.
What fruits and vegetables are good for lichen sclerosus of the vulva?
Currently, there is no clear cause for vulvar lichen sclerosus, and it is not related to diet. Therefore, you can eat any fruit and vegetable with vulvar lichen sclerosus; there are no dietary restrictions. Just like usual, eat fruits and vegetables, but try to avoid cold foods. The same applies to other foods. Just make sure not to be partial to any particular type of food. Vulvar lichen sclerosus should be treated symptomatically if symptoms are present. Most of the time, treatment can be chosen from traditional Chinese medicine.
What will happen in the late stages of endometritis?
Endometritis does not have early or late stages. Some people may have more severe inflammation, with clearer signs of infection, which can even lead to elevated body temperature and mild ascites with severe surrounding circumstances. In such cases, etiological examinations are necessary, and treatment should be chosen based on specific etiological findings, including bacterial culture and drug sensitivity tests. Since endometritis is not cancer, there’s no such thing as a late stage—the condition may present as mild, severe, or chronic inflammation. Traditional Chinese Medicine and herbal treatments might be required. Therefore, if inflammation is present, there is no need to overly worry. It is important to begin treatment as soon as possible based on the specific circumstances, avoid sexual activities and excessive fatigue in the near term.
