What should be paid attention to for hyperlipidemia?
What should be noted for hyperlipidemia? First, maintain regular life habits, avoid staying up late, smoking, excessive drinking, and overeating. Try to avoid consuming animal offal, fatty meats, fried foods, and foods high in cholesterol. Opt for easily digestible and high dietary fiber foods, and consume more vegetables and fruits to help lower blood lipids. Additionally, under the guidance of a doctor, medication that regulates blood lipids should be used. Common medications include rosuvastatin, atorvastatin, fenofibrate, and Xuezhikang, which should be routinely used to maintain blood lipids within a normal range.
Are the symptoms of rheumatic heart disease severe?
Rheumatic heart disease is a type of organic heart disease where the heart valves are damaged, leading to stenosis and insufficiency. Symptoms vary with the extent of the damage. Mild damage does not significantly alter hemodynamics, and there may be no clinical symptoms, allowing for unrestricted physical activity. Severe damage results in noticeable changes in hemodynamics, presenting with symptoms of heart failure such as coughing, expectoration, cyanosis, palpitations and shortness of breath after activity, swelling of the lower limbs, and indigestion among other signs of heart dysfunction. Early treatment is necessary to prevent worsening of heart failure and to safeguard the patient’s life.
What is heart disease?
Heart disease is caused by various factors that invade the heart, resulting in the loss of its normal physiological functions. Common causes of heart disease include rheumatic heart disease, congenital heart disease, viral myocarditis, coronary artery disease, and pulmonary heart disease. These diseases are considered organic heart diseases, caused by various reasons that lead to pathological changes in the heart's muscles, valves, etc., losing the heart's normal ability to pump blood and supply the body with blood.
Can people with low blood pressure drink tea?
People with low blood pressure can drink tea. Currently, there are many types of tea in daily life: green tea, oolong tea, black tea, Tieguanyin, as well as some medicinal teas such as ginseng tea, astragalus tea, and goji berry tea. Regular consumption of these teas is beneficial for health, as they provide essential nutrients. The active ingredients in tea can enhance mental alertness, promote blood circulation, and increase heart vitality. Additionally, some medicinal teas like astragalus tea and goji berry tea have the effects of replenishing qi, nourishing yin, and supporting kidney health. By nourishing yin and supporting kidneys, and adjusting the blood through replenishing qi, these teas can help raise blood pressure.
Can premature ventricular contractions cause a heart attack?
Ventricular premature beats will not cause myocardial infarction as they arise from different mechanisms and lead to different outcomes. Ventricular premature beats occur due to changes in the ventricular conduction system, causing irregular heartbeats. Myocardial infarction is caused by the narrowing of coronary arteries, the formation of plaques, and thromboses, leading to blockage that deprives the heart of oxygen, resulting in ischemia and necrosis, known as myocardial infarction. Myocardial infarction is a serious condition that requires immediate medical intervention to save the patient's life. Ventricular premature beats can occur due to pathological reasons or can be seen in healthy individuals, and can be managed with medications that regulate the heart rate to achieve the desired therapeutic outcome.
What can you eat after a myocardial infarction?
Patients with myocardial infarction should have a diet that is easy to digest, high in nutrition, high in quality protein, high in trace elements, and high in vitamins. They should eat lean meat, shrimp, fish, and sea cucumber, which contain high amounts of vitamins, trace elements, and quality protein. These can enhance the body's immunity and promote the repair of damaged heart muscle. Eat more fruits and vegetables that are high in vitamins, trace elements, and dietary fiber. These fruits and vegetables can effectively remove free radicals in the body, act as antioxidants, and also facilitate bowel movements.
Complications of myocardial infarction
Myocardial infarction is a more serious disease of the heart. Suffering from myocardial infarction can cause significant harm to the body and, in severe cases, can be life-threatening. If not properly treated, it can lead to various complications. The most common complications include arrhythmias, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, rupture of the ventricular wall, papillary muscle rupture, and ventricular septal perforation. Therefore, once a myocardial infarction occurs, it is crucial to actively perform rescue operations and treatments to prevent the occurrence of these complications.
Can arteriosclerosis be treated with moxibustion?
Arteriosclerosis can be treated with moxibustion. Moxibustion is a traditional disease treatment method in Chinese medicine, which can treat many diseases clinically. For patients with arteriosclerosis, moxibustion therapy can improve some clinical symptoms caused by arteriosclerosis. However, one should not rely solely on moxibustion for the treatment of atherosclerosis, as the mechanism of atherosclerosis is due to the disorder of lipid metabolism and the hardening of arterial walls caused by increased blood lipids. Treatment should include medication and dietary adjustments such as low-salt, low-sugar, and low-fat diets, and avoiding fatty meats, animal offal, and seafood high in cholesterol.
How is myocardial infarction treated?
Myocardial infarction is a common and frequently occurring severe emergency condition in clinical practice. If not effectively treated, myocardial infarction can lead to serious complications that jeopardize life, and thus it requires effective treatment. Currently, there are various clinical treatment methods for myocardial infarction, including medication, intravascular stent implantation, and coronary artery bypass surgery among others. Based on the patient's constitution and the characteristics of the blood vessels, an effective treatment method should be selected under the guidance of a doctor to save the patient's life and improve the quality of life post-treatment.
Symptoms of Sinus Arrhythmia
Symptoms of sinus arrhythmia vary according to different causes, including sinus bradycardia, sinus tachycardia, sinus arrhythmia, sinus arrest, and sick sinus syndrome. Mild cases of sinus bradycardia, sinus tachycardia, and arrhythmia generally do not present noticeable clinical symptoms. However, severe cases can experience symptoms such as palpitations, fatigue, and shortness of breath. Sinus arrest and sick sinus syndrome often present more severe clinical symptoms, including not only shortness of breath but also dizziness, blackouts, fainting, and acute cerebral ischemia and hypoxia.
