Does a long foreskin cause premature ejaculation?
A prolonged foreskin definitely leads to premature ejaculation, because if the foreskin is too long, it constantly covers the glans, which generally does not get exposed. As a result, the glans receives less external stimulation and becomes more sensitive. Therefore, during sexual activity, as the penis erects and the glans is exposed and comes into contact with a partner’s body, its heightened sensitivity can lead to premature ejaculation. Thus, an elongated foreskin certainly causes premature ejaculation.
How is premature ejaculation treated? Is surgery needed?
The first treatment for premature ejaculation is to target the treatment based on the cause; The second is behavioral therapy, which includes improving sexual techniques and the penile squeeze technique; The third is pharmacological treatment, divided into topical and oral medications; The fourth is surgical treatment, including circumcision and dorsal penile nerve block surgery.
