Where to massage for heart failure?

Patients with heart failure cannot be effectively treated by massage alone; it merely serves to alleviate symptoms. It is recommended to take medication for treatment purposes. However, massaging certain acupoints can be beneficial. Massaging the Neiguan point can significantly reduce symptoms of chest tightness and pain, and also alleviate fainting. Regularly massaging the Jiuwei point, also known as the Jianjing point, can effectively relieve angina caused by heart disease.

Can spleen deficiency lead to excessive head sweating?

Spleen deficiency can lead to excessive sweating of the head, and generally, if it is mild, there will be no sweating. However, when the condition is severe, it can lead to physical weakness, which in turn causes excessive head sweating. For patients with spleen deficiency, it is also crucial to manage the condition early. Firstly, one can eat more foods that strengthen the spleen, such as Chinese yam and coix seeds, which have spleen-strengthening effects and can be effectively managed. Most importantly, one should avoid excessive fatigue, not rush, maintain a cheerful mood, and ensure good daily routines to achieve good management.

Patients with chronic prostatitis cannot effectively treat the condition solely through moxibustion. While it may help alleviate some symptoms of chronic prostatitis, treatment primarily requires timely medication to achieve a cure. It is recommended to undergo treatment under the guidance of a qualified physician to effectively improve the condition. It is also important to maintain hygiene, wash frequently, change clothes regularly, and prevent infections. Additionally, avoid staying up late, as it can worsen the condition.

Can moxibustion be used to treat acne?

In the case of acne, it can be treated by moxibustion, as moxibustion can activate blood circulation, remove obstructions in the channels, dispel wind, and dissipate cold. It can effectively help regulate the body. The occurrence of acne is mostly caused by excessive fatigue, habitual staying up late, and consuming stimulating foods. Therefore, first and foremost, while undergoing moxibustion, it is also necessary to improve everyday life aspects, such as maintaining a regular schedule, ensuring adequate sleep, avoiding staying up late, and engaging in more physical exercise to enhance the body's immunity. Diet should mainly consist of light meals.

Can stomach fire cause oral ulcers?

When there is excessive stomach fire, it can cause oral ulcers. This is because excessive stomach fire leads to poor digestion in the gastrointestinal tract, where food cannot be digested in time and regurgitates into the mouth. It can also cause throat pain and oral inflammation, so it is crucial to treat stomach fire promptly. For severe cases, medication that improves stomach fire should be taken, and for mild cases, the condition can be managed through diet. Eating more watermelon, apples, and similar foods can help reduce stomach fire. Most importantly, avoid alcohol, smoking, and staying up late. (Medication should be taken under the guidance of a professional doctor.)

Can excessive dampness cause insomnia?

If excessive dampness is present, it can generally cause insomnia and other adverse reactions, such as numbness throughout the body, general weakness, memory decline, and poor gastrointestinal digestion, which can all lead to symptoms. Therefore, it is first necessary to help expel the dampness to achieve effective improvement. Does soaking feet in ginger treat frostbite?

Soaking your feet in ginger water can effectively help improve chilblains and also achieve therapeutic effects, so it can be done daily. It is still necessary to keep warm and avoid getting cold, because if the condition is too severe, simply soaking your feet can be relatively slow. Foot soaking can only play a temporary role, so more attention is needed usually. You can soak your feet daily, maintaining the water temperature around 40°C. Moreover, the soaking time should generally be controlled between 15 to 30 minutes to effectively help improve the condition. If the chilblains are severe, some medications can be applied for treatment. (The use of medications should be carried out under the guidance of a professional doctor.)
